AUSTINTOWN, Ohio - Of the more than 1,000 road projects Ohio has planned this summer, one is smack dab in the middle of one of the Valley's busiest intersections; State Route 46 and Mahoning Avenue in Austintown.

Around 23,000 vehicles travel through the intersection a day.

Lane restrictions will start in the northbound lane of Route 46 for ten days for drainage work.

Various lane restrictions will continue until the $700,000 project to ease traffic congestion is completed.

The work is estimated to be done by late October 2019.
