WEATHERSFIELD TWP., Ohio - Some Trumbull County fire departments are looking for your help in raising money for one of their fellow firefighters that was injured.

Weathersfield Township Firefighter Justin Glaum was hurt while working his full-time job in construction.

He recently received surgery and has a very long road to recovery, according to a post on the Mineral Ridge Volunteer Fire Department's Facebook page.

He is still listed in critical condition but improving at University Hospital in Cleveland.

To help Justin and his family, the Mineral Ridge Volunteer Fire Department is hosting a boot drive for medical and living expenses Thursday through Saturday.

The drive will take place at the Weathersfield Township Flag Day Festival and also at the McDonald Festival later this month.

If you're able to help but unable to make these events, please message the Facebook page or reach out to any one of the Weathersfield Twp Firefighters at Station 41.
