Around 2 o'clock, heavy rain came down in Trumbull County causing some flooding in Masury on Davis Street.

Residents told 21 News it's typically a problem area when heavy rain hits.

With all the water draining, a pipe couldn't keep up and water was pouring towards Mary Greenawalt's mother's home.

"Being that it was plugged, all of the water was coming out of it. It drained all into my mom's basement. Her basement probably had a good foot of water in it," said Greenwalt.

There was standing water on Roads throughout Trumbull County and water rushing down the creek on Yankee Run Road.

In Mercer County, there was flooding on State Street by the Country Fair gas station in Sharon.

Downtown was also hit hard.

The Shenango River was elevated and moving quickly.

In Front of Quaker Steak and Lube, Sharon Sanitary Authority said with all the rain in a short period of time, a pipe backed up and flooded a portion of the street.

They said it should be back to normal once the rain lets up.
