Rapper Gucci Mane took the stage in Youngstown in front a large crowd as the first paid ticketed event at the Amphitheatre.

Saturday was the first time the venue hosted a national act and Rapper Gucci Mane attracted more than 2,000 people.

Some people even made the trip from Cleveland to see their favorite rapper.

Last week, The Donnie Iris and Michael Stanley concert was cancelled and re-scheduled for July 27 after a stretch of bad weather.

Organizers say they were relieved to have sunshine and blue skies for Gucci Mane.

He hit the stage just after 9 p.m. and performed for about 50 minutes.
