SOUTHINGTON TWP. - A 12-year-old boy has died after a car hit him and his father on a tractor in Southington Township.

The victim has been identified as Josh Miller of West Farmington. He died after the crash along Painesville Warren State Road on Friday.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol said Miller's father was driving when 97-year-old George Desavigny hit the back of the tractor, sending them off the road. 

The father was treated for his injuries, and Desavigny had minor injuries. 

The investigation is ongoing, but officials say alcohol or drugs do not appear to be a factor in the crash.
