A New Castle man will be sentenced next month for murdering a woman in Sharon last year.

A New Castle man will be sentenced next month for murdering a woman in Sharon last year.
Mercer County Court officials tell 21 News that 53-year-old Roy Johnson pleaded guilty Tuesday to third degree murder and a weapons violation in connection with the shooting death of 30-year-old Sierra Nicole Madison-Clark of New Castle.
Madison's body was found in a car on January 29, 2018 behind a business on Stambaugh Avenue and East Budd Street.
Johnson was originally faced charges of first degree murder, third degree murder, and criminal homicide.
He's scheduled to be sentenced on August 9.
