NEWTON FALLS, Ohio - A portion of State Route 534 in Newton Falls has closed for a bridge replacement.

According to the Ohio Department of Transportation, State Route 534 between River Street and Milton Boulevard will close until further notice.

The bridge replacement project is expected to be completed by October.

The $1.3 million project includes a bridge replacement and resurfacing.

The posted detour is I-76 to State Route 225 to State Route 5.
