An Austintown man is behind bars after allegedly entering a home.

According to the report, officers were dispatched to the home on the 500 block of Westgate Boulevard around 3:30 a.m. on July 6.

Police say one of the residents told them that 26-year-old Austin Chace was hiding in an upstairs bedroom and was hiding in a crawl space.

Reports say Chace was highly intoxicated at the time and had swallowed two grams of heroin.

The homeowner told police that Chace was not permitted in the house and that her watch was missing.
