A Trumbull County Grand Jury has indicted a Weathersfield man after he is accused of a marijuana growing operation in his home.

Fifty-year-old Daniel Babcock has been indicted on one count of cultivation of marijuana, one count of trafficking in marijuana, one count of possession of marijuana, two counts of having weapons while under disability, one count of illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia and one count of intimidation of an attorney, victim, or witness in a criminal case.

Police and a probation officer went to the Harmon Avenue Home Babcock to arrest him for an alleged probation violation.

Officers say that during a search of the home, they found two rooms filled with equipment used to grow marijuana. They also found $800 in cash and two handguns.
