The remnants of Barry pushed across the Valley yesterday, and unfortunately, the extreme heat is moving in over the next several days.  We will reach a toasty high of 89 degrees this afternoon along with high humidity and mostly sunny skies.

All eyes will be on the temperature, dewpoints, and heat index over the next several days.

Temperatures will increase to a high in the 90s on both Friday and Saturday. Dewpoints will remain in the 70s through the weekend.

The heat index will make temperatures feel like they are in the triple digits on both Friday and Saturday. The weekend is looking dry with mostly sunny skies and a small chance for showers on Sunday.

Relief from the heat will arrive at the start of the workweek with temperatures in the upper 70s starting on Tuesday.

Make sure to stay hydrated over the next several days and take breaks in the shade if you are spending time outdoors.

Download the Storm Tracker 21 app to stay weather aware throughout the next several days.
