A meeting between the Trumbull County Board of Commissioners and the Liberty Township Law Director is scheduled for Tuesday at the Commissioners' Hearing Room to discuss the Girard Water Agreement.

According to Liberty Trustee Jodi Stoyak, the meeting will discuss the contract with Girard Water and Liberty Township.

That agreement is set to expire in 2020.

According to Stoyak, the part of Liberty that receives water from Girard is charged a lot by the company. She says that it is the second-highest rate in the state of Ohio.

Stoyak told 21 News that engineers have the data regarding the Girard Water Agreement and hope that they will announce a plan to deal with the issue at the meeting.
