Officials believe that a fire that destroyed a Canfield plaza began in the roof above a sign for Sunkiss Tanning.
Officials believe that a fire that destroyed a Canfield plaza began in the roof above a sign for Sunkiss Tanning.
They were able to pinpoint that area from surveillance video.
The fire happened on Sunday around noon at the Summit Plaza on Boardman-Canfield Road.
Officials say the Sunkiss Tanning building is a complete loss.
Multiple departments were called to the scene at the building that included RP Motors, Hair Hut, and Toula's Bridal.
Toula's Bridal was able to save dresses that were bought.
21 News crews spoke with Toula's Bridal who said they plan on personally would contact brides in the coming days regarding the situation.
Dresses from the bridal shop are already being taken to get professionally cleaned.
Toula's Bridal estimates that nearly 2,000 dresses were at the store ranging from $1,800 to $5,000 each.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
