Representatives from the Officer Leo Foundation were presented with two checks of $5,000 from Dunkin Donuts in Liberty this Wednesday morning.

Dunkin raised money for the foundation a few months ago and surprised the organization today by matching the donation.

"Officer Leo was very important to our community. He frequented our stores all the time. In May, we held an event called coffee with a cop, and we did that at three of our locations, and we were able to raise quite a bit of fund from that," said Tiffany Gallo, Dunkin's Director of Human Resources.

The foundation provides scholarships and is named in memory of Officer Justin Leo, who was killed in the line of duty in October of 2017.
