Perkins restaurant in Canfield has closed its doors after a bankruptcy judge ruled that ten Perkins restaurant franchise would no longer be allowed to continue operating using the Perkins name in July.

CANFIELD, Ohio - Perkins restaurant in Canfield has closed its doors after a bankruptcy judge ruled that ten Perkins restaurant franchise would no longer be allowed to continue operating using the Perkins name in July.
A note posted on the restaurant's door thanked customers for their patronage over the years and invites them to dine at the locations that remained open in Austintown, Boardman, and Niles.
The other nine restaurants that are no longer permitted to operate under the Perkins name are in Ashtabula, Conneaut, Canton, and Brooklyn, Ohio; as well as Pennsylvania locations in New Castle, Titusville, Erie West, Cranberry, and Warren (Pennsylvania.)
Under the agreement, the franchises in Niles, Greenville, Grove City, Hermitage, Warren, Boardman, and Austintown could remain in operation for now.
