Trumbull County to go all paper ballots this November
For 14 years, Trumbull County voted with a touch screen system.

TRUMBULL COUNTY, OH - Trumbull County is now using a paper ballot system.
It was rolled out in May to select areas, but will now be used throughout the county in this upcoming election.
For 14 years, Trumbull County voted with a touch screen system.
The Deputy Director of the Trumbull County Board of Elections says they went back to paper ballots because they are the most secure and can never be hacked.
"Educated voters really like paper because they can go in and quickly make their selections and it's tangible," said Ron Massullo. "They have their hands on the paper ballots, and they know they can't hack that ballot."
Open houses throughout the county will be taking place soon so that voters can practice on the paper ballots.
The Board of Elections also plans to make the voting process easy with new signage they discussed at their regular meeting this afternoon.
