An Austintown man has been sentenced to more than 21years in prison for trading child pornography with a Liberty Township woman.

U.S. District Court Judge James Gwin on Monday handed down a sentence of 260 months to Daniel Parker after being convicted earlier of sexual exploitation of children and receiving depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.

Parker's punishment follows the sentence of 33-year-old Candis Sue Marie Wynn of Liberty Township, who was found guilty of sexual exploitation of a minor, receipt and distribution of child pornography and possessing child pornography.

According to an affidavit filed in U.S. District Court, Wynn sent Parker a video of a child being sexually assaulted. The affidavit doesn't give the child's age but describes her as prepubescent.

Investigators say Wynn also sent Parker other pictures and videos of children engaged in sex acts with adults.

A special agent from the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation says that Parker also sent pornographic videos to children to Wynn.

On January 8, Liberty Police searched Wynn's home, seizing her phone and other items.

Police used another search warrant later that month to confiscated two cell phones, a tablet and a sim card from Parker, who was at the Community Corrections Association halfway house on Market Street in Youngstown at the time.

In August of last year, Wynn was sentenced to six months in jail for child endangering. According to police, Wynn left her two-year-old daughter home alone while she went to a store to buy liquor.

When Wynn completes her federal sentence, she will be placed on probation for 20 years. Parker will be on probation for ten years.
