KINSMAN, Ohio - A birds-eye view of a Kinsman neighborhood shows the progress being made to restore access to residents who have been cut off from their homes since flooding washed out the only road on July 20.
Video provided to 21 News by 680 Aerials on Wednesday showed crews repairing Lakeview Drive, which crumbled away when heavy rains caused Kinsman Lake to wash away a dam under the road and displace dozens from their homes.
The repairs in total are estimated to cost around $1.8 million.
The project is being funded by ODOT and the Ohio Department of Public Safety.
