The Save A Lot on the 1000 block of North Park Avenue was allegedly robbed Wednesday afternoon.

According to the police report, an unknown black male entered the store around 12:30 p.m. and went to the meat department in the store.

Police say Save A Lot employees saw the man in the two-way mirror and observed him putting packages of meat in his pants.

Reports say the man walked toward the exit when the store manager and security guard told him to take the meat out of his pants.

According to the report, the man took a few packages out of his waistband before pushing the security guard down and running out the door.

The suspect fled the scene on a dark color 10-speed bike toward Atlantic Street NE.

According to the report, the manager was not able to determine the amount of meat taken or its value.

No arrests have been made at this time.
