The Youngstown State football team is out of the top 25 of the Stats FCS poll following their third straight loss. 

The Penguins are 4-3 overall and have lost all three games in October. 

They started the season 4-0 with wins over Samford, Howard, Duquesne, and Robert Morris.  Only the Dukes have a winning record at 4-2.  Howard is 1-6, Robert Morris and Samford are both 3-4.

Missouri Valley Conference members North Dakota remains number one, South Dakota State, (3rd) Illinois State,(8th), and Northern Iowa (11th).

The Bison and Redbirds are still future opponents of the Penguins.

The Penguins host winless (0-7) Western Illinois, Saturday at Stambaugh Stadium at 2:00 p.m.
