Guns, ammo found in home of Youngstown man on probation

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Youngstown Police and Adult Parole Authority officers found weapons and ammunition during a routine parole visit this week.
Police say, Sterling Henry, 21, was arrested for a probation violation.
According to the report, officers and parole agents were on a routine visit to monitor Henry's parole on the 2000 block of Oregon Avenue.
Reports say Henry opened the door, and officers smelled a heavy odor of marijuana and began to search the home.
Officers say possession of drugs and firearms is a violation of Henry's parole orders.
Henry has been on probation after pleading guilty to improperly handling a firearm in a motor vehicle.
According to the report, Henry now faces charges of violating community control for his original charge.
Henry is currently in the Mahoning County Jail.
