NILES, Ohio - Bond is set at $100,000 for an Orwell, Ohio woman accused of slashing her step-father's face at his Niles home.
A 42-year-old West Third Street man called the Niles Police Monday afternoon, claiming that his stepdaughter sliced his face with a knife.
Officers say they found a large folding knife behind the home and arrested 22-year-old Allyson Long on a charge of felonious assault.
The police report describes the victim's wound as a severe laceration.
Long entered no plea when she was arraigned in Niles Municipal Court. Her next court hearing is scheduled for Wednesday.
