Youngstown Air Reserve Station kicks off Toys for Tots program

VIENNA TWP., Ohio - The 910th Airlift Wing has kicked off its campaign to collect toys to support the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program.
The annual campaign collects toys to give to the less fortunate during the holiday season.
“The 910th is honored to work with our Marine brethren to support the Toys for Tots program,” said Col. Joe Janik, the commander of the 910th Airlift Wing. “We have the opportunity to support our community and help ensure all children living in the Mahoning Valley get a present for Christmas.”
Those with base access can drop off new and unwrapped toys at donation box sites located at the wing headquarters building and the base exchange until Dec. 11, 2019.
Public donation sites can be found at the Toys for Tots website.
Last year, the local campaign distributed 31,750 toys, impacting more than 10,000 children in need, according to the Youngstown Air Reserve Station.
