Suspect in Austintown hit and run booked into Mahoning County Jail

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - The Canfield man wanted for allegedly hitting a trash collector while fleeing a sheriff's deputy has been booked into the Mahoning County Jail.
23-year-old Brandon Ferrier faces multiple charges after multiple car chases throughout Ohio.
Ferrier allegedly struck 56-year-old William Shea of Struthers with his Chevy Suburban during his escape from a sheriff's deputy in Austintown.
Ferrier was wanted for violating his parole in Mahoning County, passing bad checks and fraud warrants in Pennsylvania and pursuit through Mill Creek Park.
State Troopers spotted Ferrier's vehicle in Coshocton County and chased it into Tuscarawas County, where he crashed into a guardrail.
Ferrier had to be flown by a medical helicopter to Akron General Hospital because of his injuries.
He is facing charges of theft, passing bad checks, obstructing official business, criminal trespass, and failure to comply.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol released the video of Ferrier's capture Thursday.
