Hundreds gather in Boardman for 'Laughing out M-S'
BOARDMAN, Ohio - Hundreds lent a helping hand in the fight against Multiple Sclerosis at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman tonight.
KV's Krew Incorporated joined together with local healthcare providers to sponsor the eighth annual Laughing out M-S.
The event raises money to fund research and education for M-S.
Those living with M-S came to share their stories and did not have to pay to attend the event.
Kathy and Nikki Villella were both diagnosed with M-S six years apart, their family member Samantha now runs the organization.
"This is what we do every year to raise awareness, education and some funds for research, for people who live with M-S," Samantha Villella said.
The organization also donates to the Oak Clinic for Multiple Sclerosis to provide patients with much needed medical service.
