LIBERTY TWP, Ohio - Only eight months after it opened, the Tim Hortons restaurant in Liberty Township has closed.
According to the Facebook page of owners TH Cleveland, Monday was the last day of operation for the location on Belmont Avenue.
The Liberty restaurant opened at the corner of Goldie Road and Belmont Avenue in March.
The post did not give a reason for the closing but pointed out the company still operates Tim Hortons restaurants in Girard and Akron.
TH Cleveland, an area developer from Beachwood, says it still plans to grow the Tim Hortons brand in Northeast Ohio.
Tim Hortons is a fast-food chain based in Canada, specializing in coffee and donuts.
