CANFIELD, Ohio - The Ohio State Highway Patrol Canfield Post has announced its 2019 trooper and dispatcher of the year.

Trooper John Lamm has been named the 2019 trooper of the year, and Brooke Boley has been named 2019 dispatcher of the year.

Trooper Lamm was selected in recognition of outstanding service during 2019 at the Canfield Post.

Fellow Canfield Post Troopers chose Trooper Lamm based on leadership abilities, professional ethics, courteous treatment of others, enthusiastic work attitude and cooperation with supervisors, peers, and the public.

Trooper Lamm joined the patrol in 2005.

He has previously received the 2008 Ravenna Post Trooper of the Year, 2013 Ravenna Post and Warren District Trooper of the Year, and 2015 Warren Trooper of the Year Award.

Trooper Lamm is now in contention for the district and state trooper of the year award to be announced later.

Dispatcher Boley joined the patrol in 2016 at the Canfield Post of the Highway Patrol.

Boley is now in contention for the district and state telecommunications award to be announced later.
