Brightside Project hopes to make Columbiana County Christmases bright

SALEM, Ohio - This December, hundreds of children throughout Columbiana County will have a bright Christmas as The Brightside Project hosts its fourth annual Bright Christmas Toy Give-A-Way.
Over the last four years, local businesses and individuals have donated new toys to the children served by the project.
Last year, the event reached out to over 200 children in Columbiana County.
The Brightside Project will be collecting toys with the help of ten partnering businesses throughout the community.
Businesses include Salem Tire Pros & Auto Service, Fairway Independent Mortgage, BBRooners, Blossom Nursing, and Rehabilitation Center, Myers Family Insurance, LiBs Market, and the Salem Chamber of Commerce or Savors Auto Connection in East Liverpool and Good Wheels in Calcutta.
Toys can be dropped off during regular business hours.
Collected toys will be distributed directly to children in the hopes of brightening their Christmas.
Bright Christmas will be held Saturday, Dec. 21 from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. at the Brightside Project's facility located at 138 S. Broadway in Salem.
Children may only attend one day.
Parents are encouraged to bring their children ages 3-15 years old and are asked to bring proof of residency with them when they attend the event.
Children in attendance will be able to choose toys to take home, meet Santa and Mrs. Claus, and enjoy holiday refreshments.
