Longtime mentor and Hall of Fame coach Gene Nicholson passed away Monday, December 30th.

He coached for better than 40 years and seven different sports.  

Nicholson was most known for his time coaching the Westminster Football program.  During his tenure(1968-1998), he served as the Titans head coach and defensive coordinator.

Nicholson helped Westminster to six National Championships, including the last title in 1994, as the team's head coach.

He also won the Division II National Championship coach of the year that same season.  Also, he was the only person in Titan history to be on the coaching staff for all six championships.
