Boscov's department store coming to Niles

NILES, Ohio - A 100-year-old family-owned department store chain is coming to the city of Niles.
A spokesperson for the Reading, Pennsylvania based Boscov's confirmed to 21 News that the company plans to open a location in Niles.
The Boscov's representative would not say if the store will be in the Eastwood Mall, which has scheduled a Monday news conference to announce a new tenant for the space formerly occupied by Sears.
Cafaro Company Director of Corporate Communications Joe Bell would not confirm or deny that Boscov's will be the new Eastwood Mall tenant but did tell 21 News that it is the largest single retailer to open inside the mall ever.
Two years ago, Boscov's moved into the former Sears building at the Cafaro-owned Millcreek Mall in Erie. The Ohio Valley Mall, also operated by Cafaro, has a Boscov's.
Boscov's, which bills itself as America's largest family-owned department store, operates 48 stores in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, New York, Connecticut, Delaware, Ohio, and Rhode Island.
