Men kicked out of Warren rehab facility for allegedly forming a gang

More than a dozen men have been kicked out of a Warren rehab facility that houses criminal offenders.
NEO-CAP officials believe the men were trying to form a gang.
David A. Meese, Chase Holmes, Zachary Mace, Trevor Svoboda, Hunter Myers, Martise McWilson, Jamie Peer, Zachary Peer, Steven Souleret and Anthony Walsh are just some of the men who were removed from the rehab facility and later arrested by the Portage County Sheriff's Department.
The facility focuses on rehabilitating convicted felons, but when operators noticed the behavior of some of the men changed, they wasted no time taking action.
A meeting earlier this month involving several men going through NEO-CAP program inside this locked down building triggered concerns.
Some of the other clients claimed those individuals wouldn't allow them in certain rooms.
Directors at NEO-CAP said this is not typical behavior, and residents do not have positions of power over each other, so this situation was something out of the ordinary.
After interviews and a review of surveillance video, NEOCAP officials say they learned the group was trying to form a gang known as the "NEO Bloods" ... encouraging loyalty to each other.
The 18 men involved are from Lake and Portage counties.
It's believed some might have prior ties to gang activity.
All of the men accused were negatively terminated from the program, which is a probation violation, and the men could face prison time depending on their convictions.
NEO-CAP says something like this has never happened before and will not be tolerated.
