STRUTHERS, Ohio - With all the dire information about the coronavirus outbreak, a Valley police department is trying to add some light-heartedness to the situation.

The Struthers Police Department's Facebook page has a post asking criminals to take a break during the pandemic.

The post reads:

Due to the coronavirus, the police department is asking that all criminal activities stop until further notice. Thank you for your anticipated cooperation in the matter. We will update you when we deem it's appropriate to proceed with yo bad selves.

As of 4:30 a.m. Friday the post had more than 1,100 comments and 34,000 shares.
