T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, Homegoods closed for two weeks

The coronavirus is impacting the company building the sprawling $100 million distribution facility in Lordstown.
TJX CEO and President Ernie Herrman has announced the two-week closure of all of the company-operated stores, including T.J. Maxx, Homegoods, and Marshalls.
The shutdown announcement impacts T.J. Maxx stores in Boardman, Howland, and Hermitage; a Marshalls in Boardman; and a Homegoods store in Boardman.
The company is also temporarily closing its online businesses tjmaxx.com, marshalls.com, and sierra.com during this time, as well as its distribution and fulfillment centers.
Herrman says the company plans to pay employees during the shutdown.
Construction is progressing on the $100 million, 1.2 million square foot TJX HomeGoods distribution center that will create 1,000 new jobs in the Valley.
