Governor Mike DeWine has ordered flags lowered to half staff to honor State Representative Don Manning and an Ohio police officer.
The order comes after Representative Manning passed away Friday.
The Republican Representative from New Middletown was serving his first term in the Ohio House of Representatives.
The order also honors fallen Springdale Police Officer Kaia Grant, who was killed in a car crash while on duty.
Flags are to remain lowered until sunset on March 29th.
