Howland PD, US Marshals seek help in locating woman who went missing 9 years ago

HOWLAND, Ohio - Howland police and the U.S. Marshals continue to ask to gather information on a missing person case that was filed nine years ago.
Jacqueline Lombardi was 22 years old at the time of her disappearance.
Lombardi left her home in Howland Township on March 19, 2011. She was last seen a short time after leaving her home in Warren.
According to the release, the Howland Police Department investigated her disappearance and followed up with leads throughout northeast Ohio.
The leads did not locate Lombardi, and the case went cold.
The release says that Howland detectives and the U.S. Marshals took a fresh look at the case and have identified some of the people she was with and some of the places she went after leaving her home.
The investigators have turned to the public for help in solving the case.
"We've made a lot of progress, and we're trying to put the final pieces of the puzzle together," said Howland Police Chief Nick Roberts. "There are people out there with information, and now is the time to come forward."
Her family and authorities are concerned for her well being due to her past associations with substance abuse.
"Law enforcement is determined to find her," said Peter J. Elliott, U.S. Marshal for the Northern District of Ohio. "Every person matters. Ms. Lombardi deserves this effort, and her family deserves answers."
When Lombardi went missing, she was 5'4" and weighed 135 pounds. She is a white female with brown hair and brown eyes.
