There is a lot of negative news when it comes to the coronavirus pandemic, but some people are coming together to make sure no one goes hungry.

As doctors and nurses work around the clock to care for the sick in the valley, a group has come together to provide support to them with warm meals.

Station Square Ristorante and a group of doctors delivered 65 meals to those workers on the frontlines at the Trumbull Regional Medical Center Friday, which include the Emergency Department, Critical Care Unit, and 5E.

They plan to continue to give meals to the morning and afternoon shifts twice a week for three weeks to the floors responding to COVID-19 and the ER.

A local dentist got the idea after he was out of work from the governor's order last week.

"Last Thursday, while I was sleeping, I just felt a pat on my back to go out and do something," said Dr. Fajiv Teneja. "I really felt God count my blessings, and this is the least I could do for all the front line doctors who are really taking care of all of us."

They're also taking food to the Youngstown Community Kitchen and another location that's yet to be determined in Trumbull County.

Members of the Indian community are paying for the meals along with Station Square.
