Those in the community are mourning the death of Mark Mangie who passed away Wednesday afternoon from COVID-19.

Mangie was a general practice attorney and former treasurer of the Mahoning County Republican Party.

He worked hard to fund arts programs locally and was a former board member of the Youngstown Symphony.

Mangie was also a co-host on the radio show Tracey and Friends with his good friend, Tracey Winbush.

His family took to his Facebook to say, "It was very unfortunate and a devastating loss for our family. He was a great husband, father, and friend and the things he was involved in he did with great enthusiasm. He touched a lot of people and went out of his way to help when asked, and he has accomplished a lot over the 70 short years he has been here."

At this time, there are no plans for a funeral or memorial service until the COVID-19 pandemic calms.
