Niles Howmet Aerospace shutting down for 3 days

NILES, Ohio - Howmet Aerospace, formerly Arconic, has announced a temporary closure to their Niles plant to disinfect it.
A company spokesman confirmed that the closure would occur between April 10 until April 13.
The closure comes after two employees of the Niles facility tested positive for the coronavirus.
Another employee of Howmet that passed away recently at the manufacturing plant tested negative for the virus.
The company spokesperson told 21 News that the company is "taking significant measures to maintain strict hygiene and social distancing guidelines as issued by the CDC, Ohio Department of Health (ODH) and Arconic Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) professionals."
The plant will continue to operate following the closure as it was deemed an essential business.
