BOARDMAN, Ohio - Boardman Local Schools are looking out for its students during what would normally be Spring Break if classes were in session.

The district will hold a spring break meal distribution on Friday, April 10 from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm at Boardman High School's parking lot.

All children, regardless of income, from the ages of 1-18 are eligible for meals: 5 breakfasts and 5 lunches for the week. Children should be present, according to a media release from the school district.

The distribution is scheduled until 2 pm or until supplies run out.

This will be a drive-thru type of pickup so families will not congregate in lines.

Meals will be handed out from Doors 8 and 9 of the High School on the Glenwood Jr. High side of the building.

Approximately 1,100 children were fed through the last distribution on Monday, April 6.

There will be no meal distribution on Monday, April 13.

The next scheduled meal distribution at BHS will be Monday, April 20.
