Local organization matching donations to Youngstown Area Jewish Federation Emergency Relief Fund

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - A local organization is matching donations made to the Youngstown Area Jewish Federation Emergency Relief Fund.
According to the release, Thomases Family Endowment will match donations to the fund dollar for dollar up to $50,000.
The Emergency Relief Fund was created in late March to help those in the community as the coronavirus makes its way through the area.
The Youngstown Area Jewish Federation serves the whole community regardless of religious affiliation through multiple agencies including the Jewish Community Center of Youngstown.
The Jewish Community Center is taking care of some of the youngest members of the community with their newly licensed Temporary Pandemic Child Care Center for those with parents workign in health care and other essential jobs.
The organization is also providing mobile meals and are connecting people with mental health services during the coronavirus pandemic.
