WARREN, Ohio -

The Trumbull County Coroner says an autopsy will be conducted Monday to find out more about the death of a county jail inmate.

Milton Kurtzman, 71, died in the jail Friday, less than 24 hours after his arrest Thursday evening.

Kurtzman was being held on a charge of felonious assault for Thursday's shooting at a home on the 1300 block of Hyde Oakfield Road in North Bristol.

It was shortly before 5 p.m. neighbors captured cell phone video showing police ordering a man to come out of his home at the crime scene.

Neighbors say the elderly man barricaded himself inside after allegedly shooting the man who often takes care of him.

Chief Deputy Joseph Dragovich told 21 News that a deputy saw Kurtzman sitting in his cell shortly after 6 p.m. Friday.  Eight minutes later, the deputy found Kurtzman on the floor, according to Dragovich.

The deputy and EMT's were unsuccessful in their attempts to revive Kurtzman.

Dragovich said when Kurtzman was booked into the jail, there were no indications of any medical issues.

Sheriff's department and BCI were back at the scene Saturday, digging holes on the property.
