LEAVITTSBURG, Ohio - An inmate at the Trumbull Correctional Institution has tested positive for the coronavirus.
According to information released by the Ohio Department of Health, the facility has 1,444 inmates.
There have been no reports of staff members testing positive according to the Department of Health data.
Trumbull Correctional has a full institution quarantine currently in effect.
The Department of Health says the inmate who tested positive is in isolation.
As of Saturday, 692 state prison inmates have tested positive for COVID-19, the majority of those are at the Marion Correctional Institution and Pickaway Correctional Institution.
258 inmates have tested negative for the virus.
