A union that represents 20,000 public service workers across Pennsylvania, identified the man they believe went missing over the weekend at McConnells Mill State Park in Lawrence County.

Authorities have been searching for two days for Jeff Hanby II, who SEIU Local 668 believes fell into Slippery Rock Creek Saturday afternoon off the hiking path.

Around 50 volunteers spent Saturday searching the area near the covered bridge, but nothing turned up.

According to the SEIU, 38-year-old Hanby is engaged to the daughter of a union business agent.

Jeff and his fiancé were hiking at the park around 1:30 p.m. Saturday when they said he fell into the creek.

The park rangers are looking for any possible witnesses who were at the park between 2-4 p.m. that day.

Anyone with any information should contact the park rangers at (724-368-8811).
