PA reports 1,295 additional coronavirus cases Sunday, 19 new deaths
HARRISBURG, Pa. - Pennsylvania continues to see a steady increase of coronavirus patients with 1,295 additional positive cases reported Sunday.
That increase brings the state total to 56,611.
There are 19 more coronavirus deaths that have been confirmed, making the state total 3,707.
A majority of the cases have occurred in those older than 25 with most deaths and hospitalizations happening in those 65 and older.
11,645 cases have occurred in long term care residents and 1,645 cases have occurred in employees of those facilities.
Another 3,759 coronavirus cases are in healthcare workers.
Locally there are 70 cases and 7 deaths in Lawrence County. Mercer County has 73 confirmed cases and 2 deaths.
More than 227,000 have tested negative for COVID-19 in Pennsylvania.
