Both the McDonald basketball head coaching vacancies are expected to be filled later this week.

Sources tell 21 Sports Tony Matisi expected to be named the girls head basketball coach and Jim Franceschelli the boys coach.

Matisi has been the head coach in recent years at South Range and Lowellville, while Franceschelli was an assistant for the Blue Devils this season and recently was the head coach at Struthers,.

Former head coaches Jeff Rasile and Amy Dolsak stepped down after their seasons were officially over.
