Warren Police 'Stuff-a-Cruiser' to help children in need

WARREN, Ohio - The Warren Police Department is reaching out to members of the community to help families struggling with unemployment due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Police have partnered with the St. Paul's Youth Group for the annual "Stuff-A-Cruiser" to collect items for the Warren G. Harding Food Pantry on Saturday.
School closings during the virus crisis have brought an influx of children who need help, depleting the pantry’s resources.
To help students get needed items at no cost, people are being asked to donate non-perishable food drink items.
In addition to monetary donations, organizers of the collection have specifically requested items such as:
Cereal, Pasta Sauce, Fruit Cups, Pudding Cups, Ramen Noodles, Juice Boxes, Hygiene Products, and socks/underwear sizes Youth 10 through Adult large. Food donations are asked to be "kid-friendly" and require little to no adult supervision.
Collection information:
When: Saturday, May 30th, 1:00pm - 4:00pm
Where: Warren City Police Department, 141 South Street SE, Warren OH, 44483
The collection event will be "contactless" to adhere to social distancing guidelines. Donors are asked to place donations in the trunk of their vehicle to be removed by a volunteer.
Contact Stacey Altiere at 330.718.8820 with any questions or to arrange for monetary donations payable to "WGH Food Pantry".
