The American Heart Association's annual Heart Ball is going virtual Thursday night.

The event was moved online due to the coronavirus pandemic and the guidelines against large gatherings.

The Heart Ball will take place from 6 p.m until 7 p.m. and include live music, a comedy show and a magician.

While there can not be an in-person gathering, the organization says the "Night Out in Vegas" theme will bring the fun to those watching.

“Now, more than ever, we’re all looking for ways to connect with others, stay positive and have fun,” said Jeff Ryznar, Founder and President of 898 Marketing and Co-Chair of the 2020 Tri- County Heart Ball. “This virtual event provides everyone with an entertaining evening at home with family and friends while supporting the Heart Association's lifesaving mission.

The funds from the event will go towards the organization's mission to fund research, support community health and improve hospital care.
