JCPenny announced Thursday it would fully reopen 11 Ohio stores, however none of the five Valley locations are on the list to reopen.

JCPenny announced Thursday it would fully reopen 11 Ohio stores, however none of the five Valley locations are on the list to reopen.
The company, which has filed Chapter 11 Bankruptcy, announced earlier in the week it would close 242 stores nationwide within the next year.
While Valley JCPenny locations remain closed, Executive Vice President of Stores Jim DePaul says, "We are thrilled to welcome our associates and customers back to JCPenney stores in Ohio, and our top priority remains on the health and safety of our associates, customers, and communities."
