Courthouses, administration, Oakhill, city hall buildings all to close early Monday

According to Mahoning Co. commissioner Carol Rimedio-Righetti, the Mahoning County Courthouse, the Mahoning County Administration office located at 21 W. Boardman St. and Mahoning County Government offices located at Oakhill Renaissance Place, 345 Oak Hill Ave, Youngstown, will be closing at 2:30 p.m. Monday, June 1.
Righetti confirmed that with the potential of a demonstration taking place this afternoon in Youngstown, the closings of the government buildings were for the safety of the employees.
The municipal court will also be closing at 2:30 pm.
According to a press release, Youngstown City Hall will be closing at 2 p.m. today as there is a possibility of another protest in downtown Youngstown at 4 p.m. Monday.
