PITTSBURGH - The National Weather Service office in Pittsburgh has confirmed two Columbiana County tornadoes. 

They were associated with severe thunderstorms that moved through the area Wednesday evening.

Officials determined that a brief tornado occurred near Hanoverton, which is a village in Hanover Township.

It was an EF0 with winds around 70 mph.

Another tornado also impacted Leetonia.

Officials also found that straight-line winds of 70 to 80 mph caused widespread damage from Rogers to East Palestine.
