Police chase Jeep from Youngstown to Fowler

FOWLER TWP., Ohio - One man is hospitalized for evaluation after being the subject of a police pursuit that began in Youngstown and ended in Trumbull County with a manhunt.
Authorities say the Youngstown Police got help from state troopers and sheriff’s deputies Friday morning as they were chasing a jeep being driven by a man described as suicidal.
Troopers say the man was allegedly driving erratically and threatened to drive into anyone who got in his way.
The Jeep went off the road and drove into the woods in the area of Route 193 and Cadwallader-Sonk Road in Fowler Township.
Police, deputies, and troopers surrounded the area until arresting the man in the woods.
No one was injured, but the suspect was taken to St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Youngstown for observation.
